With more than 50 years of experience in professionally assisting expatriates relocate into Andorra, one of our core services is the obtaining of Passive Residency for our clients. The fiscal advantages of an Andorran Residency have been well documented, however, in recent times due to Brexit restrictions an Andorran Residency also offers greater freedom of movement through the E.U. for British citizens (eliminating the 90 days per 6 months E.U. law).

In 2012, the Andorran Government created different categories for foreigners wishing to obtain residency in Andorra, to investigate these different options. please see the drop down menu on the principal menu above the slider. But to summarise the categories, they are as follows.

  • Category "A" Residency, is the traditional Fiscal Residency of Andorra, whereby the applicant must have a clean criminal record, and invest €400 000 in Andorra, and sign a declaraion that they will remain within Andorra for at least 90 days.
  • Category "B" Residency, is the formation of the Business of International Projection, whereby the applicant must prove experience in the field of the business they want to open within the borders of Andorra, and sign a declaration stating that they will physically remain in Andorra for 183 days.
  • Category "C" Residency is known as the V.I.P. Category where Andorra is looking to lure internationally acclaimed individuals to the Pyrenees to adopt residency, mostly in the fields of Arts, Sports and Science, but others would also be considered on their own merit.
  • Category "D" Residency is the Active Liberal Professional category whereby Andorra will become the applicants initial base of commercial activity. Applicants must pay a security bond upon the formation of a company, and excercise their profession from within Andorra, and participate in the the local Social Security. The'r are various distinctions between this category and Category "B".
